On Thursday, Grab PH Holdings Inc. and Gcash e-wallet operator Globe Fintech Innovations Inc. (GFII) announce a deal that would enable a cashless payment option for users of Grab.
GFII President and CEO Martha Sazon said during a news briefing that the option will be available beginning next month, and will allow users to avoid transfer fees that can go as much as P50.
“We look forward to this partnership and we will continuously innovate and build more partnerships that will improve the lives of the Filipinos,” Sazon added.
Meanwhile, Grab PH’s Marie Grace T. Vera Cruz expressed optimism about the deal.
