GoTyme Bank has surpassed 10 million users and amassed more than P53 billion in deposits, marking one of the fastest growth trajectories among digital lenders in the Philippines just over three years after launching operations.
The milestone underscores the accelerating shift toward digital banking in a market long dominated by traditional lenders, as consumers increasingly embrace app-based financial services for payments, savings and credit.
GoTyme, a joint venture between Singapore-based Tyme Group and the Gokongwei family, said growth has been driven by strong adoption of its debit card, remittance services, lending products and wealth management offerings.
“Reaching 10 million users is an important milestone on our journey to become the Philippines largest and most loved bank, but for us, it’s really about the trust that millions of Filipinos place in GoTyme Bank every day,” CEO Nate Clarke said in a statement.
“We’re grateful to our customers for choosing us, and we’ll continue working to make banking simpler, more accessible, more affordable, and more beautiful for everyone,” he added.
The lender said it held the country’s most-used Visa debit card last year based on active usage data, reflecting strong engagement beyond account openings.
To support its digital-first model, GoTyme operates more than 600 kiosks across stores operated by Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. and SM Store, allowing customers to open accounts and receive debit cards in minutes.
The bank has also expanded its product ecosystem to include more than 160 billers, cryptocurrency and local equity trading, as well as international money transfers through an integration with Wise.
GoTyme is also scaling up its lending business through MoreTyme, a suite of credit products that allows customers to convert purchases into installment payments through QRPh and virtual cards.
The bank said more than one million early-access users have already utilized the platform’s credit offerings.
