GoTyme Bank sets ambitious goal of acquiring 5 million customers by 2024

GoTyme Bank, a digital banking venture of the Gokongwei Group and Singapore-based Tyme, plans to significantly expand its customer base from one million to five million by 2024, within just 10 months since its inception.

The bank attributes its growth to a unique “phygital” approach, seamlessly combining digital convenience with a human touch, enabling customers to open accounts via the GoTyme app or at over 350 kiosks across the nation, as well as through numerous partner locations like Robinsons Supermarket and Shopwise.

The bank’s co-CEO, Bankero Albert Tinio, envisions a future with extended services, including borrowing, international money transfers, and investment options.

Meanwhile, GoTyme Bank’s CEO, Nate Clarke, expresses confidence in delivering a superior banking experience and expanding their customer base beyond five million in the near future, within the dynamic landscape of six digital banks operating in the Philippines.
