With a focus on fostering inclusivity in financial technology, the competition challenged undergraduate students to pitch ideas for enhancing GCash Jr.’s appeal to the youth and their financial needs.
Over 400 students from 50 schools participated, and the top 15 teams advanced to a rigorous bootcamp where they received mentorship and refined their pitches.
The final five teams presented their creative solutions to a panel of GCash leaders, with Team G-Katip emerging as the winner.
The competition not only rewarded the winners with prizes but also offered all finalists secured slots in GCash’s Jumpstart internship program, providing valuable learning opportunities in the fintech industry.
