In celebration of this year’s earth day, GCash is unveiling the newest green species of plant for their GForest initiative.
The digital banking giant posted on its official Facebook account: “More greens, more fun! Watch out for the new member of GForest family. Hint: It protects us from strong waves. To know more, join the GForest community and let’s paint the world green!”
GForest allows users to ‘plant’ a tree corresponding to the number of energy they produce by using the app. It is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility and commitment to help preserve the environment
