Fintech unit raises just under $50 million from global supporters

PayMongo CEO Francis Plaza shared on his Facebook account one of his company’s newest and probably biggest milestones thus far.

The Bankero shared that the company has raised some $31 million from global fintech investors, which totally upped their funding to a little less than $50M.

Plaza got sentimental and shared how proud he is of how the has grown the last two and a half years and updated followers on revenue and volume growth of the business.

He shared, “the story of PayMongo continues to evolve alongside the growth of our internet economy. We started the company because we wanted anyone to have the ability to succeed online. We built easy to use payments software to make it insanely easier for customers to pay.”
