EastWest Banking Corp will begin issuing electronic invoices for selected transactions starting April 11, 2026, ahead of a mandated deadline set by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), as it shifts toward paperless documentation.
The bank said e-invoices will be sent via email, allowing customers to receive invoices in a faster and more secure manner compared with traditional printed receipts.
Customers are advised to ensure their registered email addresses are active and updated to avoid disruptions in receiving e-invoices.
EastWest said customers may visit any of its branches for assistance as it rolls out the system.
EastWestBank said the move aligns with regulatory requirements from the Bureau of Internal Revenue and forms part of its digitalization efforts.
