The state-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has approved a P815 million term loan to Bright Homes & Realty Corp. for the construction of three residential buildings in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
DBP president and CEO Michael de Jesus said the financing is part of the credit facility for the 4PH Program, which supports the Marcos administration’s Bagong Pilipinas – Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) initiative aimed at providing affordable housing.
Bright Homes, a 30-year-old housing developer specializing in mass and affordable housing, plans to accommodate around 900 individuals, primarily low- and middle-income families.
“DBP will be more aggressive in seeking partners for the BAHAY-4PH program, especially private developers and LGUs, and help expedite the creation of more sustainable and inclusive communities across the country,” de Jesus said.
The bank is targeting to release P50 billion in loans under the program by the end of 2030.
