Coins.ph expands bills payment network to nearly 300 billers with Bayad

Coins.ph, the Philippines’ leading digital asset exchange and one of the country’s fastest-growing mobile wallets, has partnered with bills payment network Bayad to expand its bills payment services to nearly 300 merchants.

The partnership will allow Coins.ph users to access a broader range of billers through Bayad’s direct network, eliminating the need for third-party aggregators and enabling faster and more reliable payment processing within the Coins.ph app.

The expanded network will cover 17 categories, including utilities, government services, telecommunications, travel and banking, giving users access to a wider range of recurring household and everyday payments.

Through a direct API integration with Bayad, Coins.ph will also offer real-time posting for major billers, with payments posted within 24 hours, the companies said.

The integration is expected to double the number of billers available on Coins.ph, strengthening the app’s role as a broader payments platform beyond its digital asset services.

“We want to show how Coins.ph fits naturally into your daily life,” said Amira Alawi, global marketing director at Coins.ph. “By partnering with a household name as trusted as Bayad, we’re making it incredibly easy for our users to settle their utilities and everyday expenses with nearly 300 billers, all in just a few taps.”

Bayad Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer Dennis Gatuslao said the partnership combines Bayad’s direct-to-biller network with Coins.ph’s digital platform to provide users with a faster and more reliable way to manage household payments.

“This partnership bridges the best of everyday traditional payments with the power of digital finance,” Gatuslao said. “It’s all about creating a faster, more reliable experience that shows how effortless managing household expenses can truly be.

The companies did not disclose financial terms of the partnership.
