Citystate Savings Bank led by banker Benjamin Ramos has pirated experienced bankers from other banks as the thrift bank further strengthens its standing in the industry.
The country’s 19th largest mid-sized bank has hired Elgie Christine Villacorta as assistant vice president and digital banking officer as well as Dennis Mancilla as assistant vice president and automatic payroll deduction salary loan department head.
Villacorta started her banking career as fraud control analyst for risk management unit of AIG Philam Savings Bank before joining BDO Unibank, Philippine National Bank, United Coconut Planters Bank, and Security Bank.
Before joining Citystate Savings Bank, Villacorta served as a senior manager, product manager loans of Tonik Digital Bank.
On the other hand, Mancilla started his career at Jade Savings & Mortgage Bank as a general account bookkeeper and distributing clerk. He then joined RCBC Savings Bank as customer service head, Robinsons Bank as sales and service manager, City Savings Bank as office manager, China Bank Savings as service head for branch banking group, Cebuana Lhuillier Bank, and Malayan Savings Bank.
Before joining Citystate Savings Bank, Mancilla served as head of branch banking operations and control at the Bank of Makati.
The family of the late Ambassador Antonio Cabangon Chua owns Citystate Savings Bank.
