The thrift bank aims to offer more salary loans to DAR employees.
CITY Savings Bank the thrift banking arm of Union Bank of the Philippines, finalized and inked a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), which allows the bank to offer a salary loan facility to DAR employees nationwide. The signing was held together with the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing between DAR and Pilmico. The said project aims to provide farmers and Agrarian Reform beneficiaries the chance to make a change in their lives via livelihood and various financial inclusion projects.
