Aboitiz Foundation, in partnership with Davao Light and City Savings Bank, helps Davao public school teachers learn new and more effective teaching skills.
Called the Project Agile Learning Series, 70 teachers of the San Roque Central Elementary in Davao City participated in the three-day event from February 15 to 17, 2022.
The two-hour Learning Series conducted over three sessions helps upskill the teachers’ knowledge on several google applications such as GMail, Chat, Meets, Task, Keep, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, and many more.
“Today, with the uncertainties that the pandemic brings, it is vital that we work together to be able to succeed in overcoming the setbacks and barriers of online learning and teaching. With training and continuous learning, we are all capable of adapting and rising up from these challenges. . Marasigan, said.
Dr. Allan Farnazo, Regional Director of the Department of Education Region XI, thanked Davao Light and Aboitiz Foundation in a recorded video message.
City Savings Bank initiated Project Agile in 2020 at the height of COVID-19 when teachers and learners were forced to conduct virtual classes. Project Agile has trained over 2,300 teachers nationwide.
