City Savings Bank marked National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its flagship program, Project Pink, in partnership with the Department of Education Central Office.
This event, featuring prominent figures like Undersecretary Gloria Jumamil-Mercado and Dr. Margarita Ballesteros, aimed to raise awareness and combat breast cancer in communities.
Breast health information was shared by Dr. Alodee Mejia, along with CitySavings’ Learning and Development Head, Ms. Rizza Gan, who highlighted her personal journey overcoming breast cancer, and the bank provided Thermalytix breast screening vouchers to participants.
Since 2017, City Savings Bank has conducted 73 sessions reaching over 8,850 DepEd personnel, reinforcing its commitment to global breast cancer awareness objectives through Project Pink.
