CIS Bayad Center Inc. (Bayad) recently announced the renewal of its collaboration with Ventaja International Corp, a financial technology (fintech) company, to continue their integrated bill-payments system.
The renewed partnership will facilitate the integration of biller brands into Ventaja’s mobile application, Payremit, and through Ventaja’s domestic and international payment centers, allowing Filipinos overseas to manage their family’s bills in the Philippines and make regular government contributions.
Bayad’s President and CEO, Lawrence Y. Ferrer, highlighted their commitment to expanding global payment options to enhance the financial well-being of Filipinos.
Ventaja, initially a telecom prepaid card provider, now offers a range of financial services, including remittance, loading, and bill payment, all powered by Bayad’s biller-aggregator system.
Ferrer emphasized their support for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and the value of their hard work.
Ventaja’s President and CEO, Vincent D. Grey, expressed gratitude for the continued partnership and the opportunity to provide enhanced payment services to Filipinos overseas, contributing to financial inclusion and the country’s economic growth.
