CIMB Bank Philippines aims to reach 500,000 virtual card users by the end of 2023 as it seeks to promote digital payments and financial inclusion, following the successful accumulation of 250,000 virtual card users after launching its Virtual Debit Card.
The bank’s CEO, Bankero Vijay Manoharan, emphasized the importance of providing accessible financial solutions and aligning with the BSP’s goals to enhance customer preference for digital payments.
CIMB Bank PH was also recognized as the best bank in the country by Forbes in its 2023 World’s Best Banks Ranking early this year.
The bank attributes its success and recent recognition as the best bank in the country to its 7-million-strong customer base and its unwavering support.
