Chinabank’s @home Visa Platinum: The credit card made for Filipino families

Chinabank is elevating family-focused financial solutions with the launch of the @home Visa Platinum Card, the first credit card in the Philippines designed specifically to meet the needs of Filipino households.

The card aims to make everyday essentials more rewarding while helping families manage their budgets with ease.

Unlike traditional credit cards, the @home Visa Platinum is structured around real household priorities.

“The Chinabank @home Visa Platinum was created with the realities of family life at its core. Every feature is designed to ease everyday responsibilities and give families more freedom to focus on what truly matters—being together,” said Niña Q. Reynoso, Head of Chinabank’s Cards Marketing Division.

She added, “We want families to have the flexibility to be able to provide for their children, support their parents, or prepare for their future while still enjoying the experiences that bring them closer.”

The card offers financial flexibility and tangible benefits for households. New cardholders receive a ₱4,000 SM Supermarket e-voucher to help with grocery budgets, while daily spending earns 5% Family Cashback, potentially translating to ₱1,500 in monthly savings on recurring expenses.

For larger obligations, including tuition fees or medical bills, the card provides a 0% installment plan for up to three months on single transactions of ₱50,000 or more, giving families room to manage unexpected or high-value costs.

Supplementary cards are offered with no annual fee, allowing family members to access funds responsibly.

Beyond practicality, the card enhances household experiences through exclusive promotions offering up to 50% savings on dining, leisure, and bonding activities.

Sustainability is also a key feature: the @home Visa Platinum is crafted from recycled plastic, reflecting Chinabank’s commitment to responsible banking and the values of modern families.

To increase accessibility, the card is available through Chinabank’s Instant Issuance Booth, allowing applicants to receive their credit card within 30 minutes.
