Chinabank clinches top honors in customer engagement awards

In a statement, China Banking Corporation (Chinabank) announced its recognition as The Big Shift Champion of the Year at the Excellence in Customer Engagement Awards 2023 during the ENGAGE 2023 conference by Backbase, held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The recognition emphasizes its successful transition from traditional to engagement banking with a focus on customer-centricity, multi-channel interaction, and personalized products and services in its digital transformation journey.

Bankero and Chinabank’s Chief Digital Officer Noel Tagaza highlighted the bank’s commitment to providing a seamless and frictionless omni-channel experience for customers, sharing insights and best practices in a panel discussion on modernizing customer-led journeys during the conference.

The event, attended by over 100 senior banking executives from seven Asian countries, aimed to assist leaders in recalibrating their 2024 banking transformation strategies and navigating the dynamic digital banking landscape in Asia.
