China Bank fuels Vivant’s expansion with P3 billion credit line

China Banking Corp. has extended a ₱3 billion three-year bilateral term loan to Vivant Corp., providing the Cebu-based holding company fresh capital to refinance maturing debt and ramp up investments in its power and water businesses.

Vivant said proceeds from the facility “will be used primarily to refinance maturing debt obligations and to support the company’s continuing investments in its power and water projects,” underscoring its expanding portfolio in generation, distribution, and wastewater treatment.

The loan marks one of China Bank’s latest exposures to essential infrastructure.

China Bank continues to see strong appetite for lending in the energy and water sectors as companies accelerate expansion to meet growing demand across the country.
