China Banking Corp. honored 520 long-serving employees nationwide as the Sy-led lender marked its 106th anniversary.
The bank recognized employees for their years of service and contributions, with 105 awardees from the Visayas and Mindanao honored at Bai Hotel Cebu on Aug. 7 and another 415 from Metro Manila and Luzon at Makati Shangri-La on Aug. 14.
“Our awardees are the keepers of our heritage and the builders of our future. Their dedication continues to strengthen Chinabank’s legacy and inspire the future generations of Chinabankers,” Chinabank chairman Hans Sy said.
“As Chinabank celebrates its 106th anniversary, we proudly honor the people whose dedication and commitment have helped shape our story across generations,” the bank said.
Chinabank is the Philippines’ fifth-largest bank by assets, with P2.05 trillion as of end-June. It had P1.33 trillion in deposits and a loan portfolio of P1.02 trillion.
