SouthBank wants to beef up digital financial services to more Mindanaoans.
Rural bank SouthBank led by Bankero Wilhelmino R. Mendoza just unveiled a strategic alliance with open finance platform UBX to boost customer-centric and inclusive digital financial services in Mindanao.
The agreement intends to expand and beef up the rural bank’s services to more clients in the countryside, offering digital solutions through SBPay, a mobile banking app.
Bankero Sunny Mendoza said the partnership with UBX intends to strengthen the bank’s active pursuit of digital banking initiatives, and is in line with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ drive for the digital transformation.
SouthBank, in line with its thrust of pushing for digital innovation, has forged partnership with UBX. It intends to promote digital banking services in the countryside.
