The seasoned Bankeros gathered and celebrated the rich history of Philippine central banking on this latest book.
Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Felipe M. Medalla alongside former governors spearheaded the launch of the book “Cool Minds, Brave Hearts: The People of the Philippine Central Bank.” Former central bank chiefs Benjamin E. Diokno, Amando M. Tetangco, Jr., Jose L. Cuisia, Jr., and Jaime C. Laya gathered together to showcase the new book, with author Roel Landingin. In July 2022, the Manila Critics Circle, and National Book Development Board granted the book a National Book Award.
The said book outlines key tribute to the BSP’s history and culture, by retelling how the central monetary authority and financial regulator served its mandates since its founding.
