Directors and executives from the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines (BMAP) held a meeting with key figures from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), including BSP Governor Eli Remolona Jr., deputy governor Chuchi Fonacier, managing director and chief of staff Pia Roman Tayag and director Jay Edward Amatong.
The two groups discussed their ongoing partnership in various areas, including consumer protection, financial literacy, cybersecurity, and fraud prevention.
BMAP also launched the 5th Bank Marketing Awards (BMA) in collaboration with the BSP and the Financial Sector Forum, aiming to recognize excellence in bank marketing practices and promote industry responsiveness and public service.
Established in 1974, BMAP continues to advocate for banking consumers and financial inclusion as it approaches its 50th anniversary next year.
