Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has tapped Ma. Lourdes Gatmaytan, an Atenean, as its new corporate secretary.
Gatmaytan, who is currently senior vice president and co-head of Legal and head of Corporate Legal Affairs replaces Angela Pilar Maramag who is being re-assigned to take on other responsibilities within the BPI Group.
The appointment of Gatmaytan as corporate secretary of the Ayala-led bank takes effect on June 15.
Gatmaytan has over 27 years of experience in the practice of law.
She received both her Juris Doctor degree and BS Legal Management degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
