Bank of the Philippine Islands has started distributing its new BPI Omni Credit Card, marking the transition from the BPI eCredit Card, which will be phased out between June and July 2026.
Current eCredit Cardholders will be automatically upgraded to the new Omni Card and will continue to enjoy their “No Annual Fee for Life” benefit.
The updated card is designed to strengthen rewards and security for online shoppers. It offers 3x BPI Rewards Points for every ₱50 spent online, along with Online Fraud Protect coverage for unauthorized transactions and scams.
Cardholders will also benefit from E-Commerce Protection covering damaged or undelivered purchases, plus convenient access to a virtual credit card through the BPI app.
BPI said it plans to introduce additional features such as installment and loan options in future updates as part of the card’s continued enhancement.
