Ayala-led Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) headed by bankero TG Limcaoco turns the spotlight to some of the country’s bravest trailblazers – through the mini-series, After Six by BPI Preferred.
BPI chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala leaves his desk for a more casual spot to hear from these changemakers – on what drives them, what they do to stay inspired and how BPI has enabled them in their work towards a better Philippines.
The first episode of After Six features Brian Cu, a changemaker in the tech and transportation sector — best known for his leadership role as part of the founding teams of several game-changing businesses — such as GoJek, Zalora Philippines, and Grab Philippines.
“You can’t copy paste technology. You need to understand the local setting and local infrastructure that exists, and then adjust whatever technology or solution you have,” Cu shared.
JG Summit president and CEO Lance Gokongwei advised listeners in the fourth episode, saying, “The only thing we can do if we want to be successful is to be patient, resilient, and bounce back.”
Thinking Machines Data Science founder and CEO Stephanie Sy said, “success is being able to keep learning and growing, to solve problems for people. It’s all about people.”
“After Six is a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit that connects many of our BPI Preferred clients. It’s a peek behind the curtain to discover what makes them tick, their diverse interests, and why after six is really when the fun begins”, said Mariana Zobel de Ayala, of BPI Consumer Bank Marketing.
The After Six mini-series will be aired on ANC starting on July 6, every Wednesday at 9:30 p.m., and with replay schedules at 1:00 p.m. every Thursday and at 8:30 p.m. every Saturday. New episodes will air on August 31, 2022 and September 7, 2022.
