A resort in Boracay is set to cater to BTC holders and to promote crypto tourism.
A resort is set to be developed in Boracay, called “Bitcoin Island”, to promote crypto tourism, accepting crypto as its main payment method. Pouch, an e-wallet service, has been actively promoting Bitcoin’s use in Boracay. Bankero Bill Mill said that over 120 businesses in the island have agreed to utilize Bitcoin as a payment method.
The company aims to further promote quicker and less expensive Bitcoin transactions as a payment and fund transfer method.
