The leading blockchain system forged partnerships with authorities to prevent cybercrime on the crypto space.
Binance recently joined forces with the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordination Center (CICC) under the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), to exchange best practice, insights and experiences in curbing cybercrime using blockchain forensics with the various law enforcement agencies.
A seminar was conducted and designed by Binance and Asia Pacific Head of Intelligence and Investigations, covering various technical aspects of interactions with and between trade, tracing, common cybercrime activities, prosecution of financial crimes, investigative techniques, and forensics report development using open-source intelligence tools.
The seminar was also graced by authorities from CICC and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Cybercrime Group.
