BDO Unibank’s corporate social responsibility arm, BDO Foundation, has completed the construction of a training facility for the Don Bosco Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Center in Balamban, Cebu, in support of Don Bosco’s mission to educate economically disadvantaged Filipino youth.
The facility, turned over by BDO Foundation President Mario Deriquito and other officials, aims to provide technical-vocational livelihood skills to senior high school students through classroom instruction and workshops.
This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 and contributes to the foundation’s advocacy of supporting communities affected by disasters.
It is the third facility constructed by the foundation for Don Bosco, following similar structures in Mati City, Davao Oriental, and Dumangas, Iloilo in previous years.
