BanKo drives financial inclusion and sustainable growth for microenterprises in the Philippines

BanKo, the microfinance subsidiary of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), is dedicated to empowering sustainable microenterprises by providing them with convenient and affordable financial solutions that promote economic growth and digitalization, contributing to financial inclusion and a better future for their clients.

BanKo is expanding its branch network and launching digital tools and products to reach more individuals and assist self-employed micro-entrepreneurs (SEMEs) in growing their businesses.

One of its key offerings is the NegosyoKo Loan, which offers flexible terms and affordable rates to support micro-entrepreneurs in expanding their ventures.

Additionally, BanKo recently introduced the e’Nay app, developed in collaboration with Innovative Research and Intelligent Solutions Corp (INNOVARIS), which enables sari-sari store owners to easily manage their inventory and payments through an online platform.

The company also showcased products from its SEME clients at BPI’s “Green and Beyond Sustainability Fair,” highlighting the sustainable practices and innovation fostered by BanKo’s support.

Through its commitment to financial inclusion and the provision of accessible financial solutions, BanKo aims to strengthen the financial capacities of SEMEs and contribute to their long-term success.
