Bankero Long Pineda discusses financial inclusion

The Dabawenya leader of Tonik bank discussed how they intend to reach out to more unbanked Pinoys.

Bankero, and Tonik President, Long Pineda, recently spoke about Tonik’s crucial role in accelerating the country’s financial inclusion at the Temenos’ Regional Forum. She emphasized how digital transformation can reach out tomore unbanked clients, particularly in the countryside. Also present during the forum were representatives from PNB and UNO Digital Bank, were the Bankeros exchanged insights on a panel discussion on digital banking in the Philippines.

Tonik received its digital banking license from the BSP in December 2020.
