Bankero Lito Villanueva named “Digital Leader of the Year” at PhilSec Awards 2023

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer, Lito M. Villanueva, was honored as the “Digital Leader of the Year” at the PhilSec Awards 2023 in Manila.

The bankero was recognized for his leadership in the consumer education campaign of Fintech Alliance.Ph and his contributions to RCBC’s digital transformation in providing inclusive financial services.

Villanueva is also the founding chairman of anti-cyber scam Fintech Alliance.Ph.

The event highlighted the importance of improving cybersecurity in the Philippines, with a significant increase in fund allocation for cybersecurity solutions by various organizations in response to growing threats.

Cybersecurity experts from leading public and private enterprises also attended the event.
