Bank of Commerce led by bankero Michelangelo Aguilar has designated chief financial officer Antonio Laquindanum as corporate information officer of the newly listed bank.
The bank’s executive vice president has been serving as chief finance officer
since 2018.
Laquindanum has 24 years of working in the finance and banking industry in the Philippines and abroad having served as chief financial officer and acting chief operating officer of the Manila Office of the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group.
Prior to his work in the Philippine banking industry, the bankero also served as
consultant in Andersen Consulting (Philippines) and Ernst & Young (New York).
Laquindanum’s career has seen its growth in the Philippines, Europe, and the US working with various financial institution clients.
Laquindanum holds a degree in Management and Economics from Ateneo de Manila University and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia.
The banking arm of Ramon S. Ang’s San Miguel Corp. also appointed Robby Carlo Gaerlan as alternate corporate information officer.
Bank of Commerce successfully raised P3.36 billion via an initial public offering (IPO). Its share price closed at P12.18 on Monday, higher than the IPO price of P12 per share.
