Bank-Genie says fintech is key in serving unbanked Filipinos

The Singapore-based tech firm aims to accelerate digitalization in the country.

SG-based financial tech firm, Bank-Genie, intends to offer afforadable technology applications pushing banks to digitize both the retail and consumer banking services in the country.

Bankero Ram Sharma said that banks can provide various services with just a printer, card reader and a tablet, with the solutions being offered by Bank-Genie.

Currently, Bank-Genie has organized tech solution for local banks, such as East West Bank, UnionBank, LandBank, and PSBank, further enabling contactless banking in the Philippines.
