Asia United Bank (AUB) led by bankero Manuel Gomez has promoted four top executives including the president of its rural banking arm.
The Rebisco-led bank has promoted Rural Bank of Angeles president Rainer Defante to executive vice president from senior vice president of the listed bank.
Aside from the Rural Bank of Angeles, the other subsidiaries of AUB include Cavite United Rural Bank, and RediMoney Express PTE Limited. The listed bank also has 39 percent equity in Asia United Leasing and Finance Corp.
AUB also promoted cards and acquiring group head Maria Magdalena Surtida to senior vice president from first vice president.
Also promoted to senior vice president from first vice president were region head of AMG West Metro Manila and concurrent team leader Jill Mae Ang and region head of AMG Visayas and Mindanao Cristina Pama.
