EastWest Bank is restricting access to key online banking services in its old mobile app to prompt customers to update.
The bank owned by the bilyonaryo Gotianun clan posted an advisory telling clients that online fund transfers via PESONet and Instapay will be unavailable on the old app starting Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
Fund transfers to other EastWest accounts, however, are still available on the old app.
“Register to the new EastWest EasyWay App for your fund transfer needs,” the bank said.
