The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recognized 15 institutional partners in North Luzon for supporting efforts to strengthen financial integrity, inclusion, and sustainability.
The awardees, honored during the 2026 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony (OBSAC) on July 30, included Land Bank of the Philippines, Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. (Metrobank), BDO Unibank Inc., Ilocos Consolidated Cooperative Bank, and Producers Savings Bank Corp.
“Through their vigilance, insights, and partnership with the BSP, they have helped strengthen public trust in our financial system,” BSP Governor Eli Remolona Jr. said.
Landbank units recognized were its Batac, Dagupan, San Fernando-La Union, Tuguegarao Capitol, and Cabanatuan City-Nueva Ecija branches, as well as its San Fernando, Pampanga Cash Operations Unit.
Metrobank’s Dagupan Branch and La Union Branch Cash Management Services Unit, BDO’s Tuguegarao Cash Hub, Ilocos Consolidated Cooperative Bank, and Producers Savings Bank Corp. were also among the recipients.
The BSP also cited the Department of Trade and Industry offices in Abra, Region III, Bulacan, and Region II for their contributions.
Since its launch in 2004, OBSAC has recognized institutions that have supported the BSP’s mandates and programs. The central bank will continue the awards program this year with recognitions for partners in Greater Manila, South Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
