Some of the country’s largest banks are expanding recruitment as they add staff to support business growth and strengthen branch and corporate banking operations.
BDO Unibank Inc., the nation’s largest lender by assets, will hold a job fair on July 25 at its Salcedo Tower headquarters in Makati, offering positions including accounting assistant, executive secretary, legal associate, operations support assistant, client service associate, marketing assistant and travelling teller. The bank said fresh graduates and walk-in applicants are welcome.

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. is also hiring branch tellers through its Metrobank Career FastTrack event on July 25. The recruitment drive is for pre-screened candidates to fill positions in Manila, Malabon, Mandaluyong, San Juan and Valenzuela.
East West Banking Corp., meanwhile, is recruiting corporate credit officers for its corporate banking business. The roles include assessing creditworthiness, evaluating lending opportunities and supporting corporate loan decisions.
