As the year winds down, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) shared a holiday message from its president and CEO Jose Teodoro “TG” Limcaoco, reflecting on achievements amid challenges.
“The year 2025, while wrought with challenges, has still been another year of steady progress and meaningful impact for BPI — anchored on our commitment to responsible banking, customer obsession, and digital innovation.”
Key highlights included strengthening the bank’s financial position and launching BPI Wealth Singapore in October, a wholly-owned subsidiary in Marina Bay offering global investment opportunities.
“We strengthened our financial position, expanded our regional presence with the launch of BPI Wealth Singapore, and continued to deliver banking excellence anchored on trust and the best digital offers.”
Central to BPI’s efforts was the “Do More Philippines” initiative, expanding access through Agency Banking and Partner Stores such as Robinsons Retail and Savers Depot.
“Guided by our ‘Do More Philippines’ commitment, we focused on doing more for our clients — enhancing everyday banking experiences, broadening access to financial services… and supporting inclusive and sustainable growth across communities nationwide.”
Looking ahead to its 175th anniversary in 2026, Limcaoco reaffirmed BPI’s long-term vision: “As we welcome the New Year and look ahead to our 175th year, we remain steadfast to serving you with purpose, innovation, and care, as we continue building a better Philippines—one family, one community at a time.”
