J.P. Morgan is winding down Aumni, the venture-capital data analytics platform it acquired in March 2023, following a strategic review of its worldwide product portfolio.
The shutdown will affect around 250 employees in the Philippines, where the bank employs more than 25,000 people.
The bank is engaging directly with affected employees and actively exploring redeployment options within other parts of the organization.
Aumni specialized in advanced analytics for venture capital and private-market investors. Its discontinuation reflects J.P. Morgan’s broader effort to streamline and refocus its technology investments.
Despite the closure, J.P. Morgan continues to expand its operations in the Philippines and considers the country a critical component of its long-term global strategy.
